I would like to implement real time call monitoring by extension. I have had a look at GetCurrentCalls and GetRealtimeQueueSummaries but neither of these filter by extension.
Which API call would be best suited for this?

May I suggest you rather make use of the Euphoria TMS for this as this functionality is readily available there without development requirement from your side? Alternatively you can find an extensive list of API calls as well as documentation at https://apidocs.euphoria.co.za. That being said however, you would more than likely need to use GetCurrentCalls and do the filtering code side
