What is a Feature Code?

Feature codes are preset key sequences (shortcuts) that enable extension users to access a function. Several features can make use of the feature code; for example, feature codes can be added to IVRs. Feature codes can be used in Huntlists and IVRs as a shortcut as well.

For example, a shortcut key can be created to enable a pause code or perform a speed dial, or transfer a call to a queue. Depending on the action required, the system may respond with interactive voice prompts. These are set up according to the organisation’s needs by the Euphoria pre-production team during the initial setup that is completed before go-live. Personalized feature codes can be added to the TMS.
