Euphoria Standard Feature Codes

Euphoria Standard Feature Codes

This is a reference guide to standard feature codes on the Euphoria Telecom network. A feature code is a number that can be dialled in order to access specific functions in the PBX system.

Please note that VoIP phones generally wait for a “send” command when dialling, i.e. on Yealink phones, the default send command is the # key. By pressing this key after dialling a number or feature code, the dial command is sent immediately. For example, if *85 is dialled for voicemail, a few seconds will pass before the command is sent to the PBX server. If *85# is dialled, then the command is sent immediately. This is important to remember, especially when using time-sensitive feature codes such as Call Pickup. Below is a list of the most common feature codes on the Euphoria network:

*8 {ext}

Direct Call Pickup - This allows for picking up a call ringing on a specific extension (Where the ringing extension is {ext}).

*0 {pickupgroup}

Group Call Pickup - This allows for picking up any call ringing in a specific pickup group (0-99). Please note that this needs to be set up specifically and will not work unless setup has been requested. A number between 0 and 99 is allocated to a group of extensions, i.e. Extensions 103 – 107 could be assigned “1” as the pickup group. Then in order to pick up any calls ringing on those extensions, one would dial *01. This is useful either in small offices where all extensions are added to one pickup group to facilitate easy call pickup or in larger enterprises where individual pickup groups can be defined for each department or branch.

*85

Voicemail - This connects the user to the voice mailbox for the extension that it is dialled from. There are voice prompts that guide you through voicemail setup in a similar fashion to a cell phone voice mailbox. The default pin number for the mailbox is the same as the extension number that it is dialled from. This can be changed by request.

*31

Voice Recording - This is utilized for creating a voice recording to be used on the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system. Follow the voice prompts to record a message, then contact Euphoria support to request for the recording to be added to the IVR.

*99{ext}

Intercom - Dial the feature code followed by the extension number you would like to connect to. This allows connecting directly to the speakerphone of the called device.

*21

Pin Dialing (Roaming) - This allows the user to make outbound calls by entering a voicemail number and voicemail pin number. Pick up the Euphoria handset, dial *21 and follow the voice prompts. The system will ask for your extension number (voicemail number) and the pin number. If correct, it will allow you to enter the number you want to dial.

*22

Pin Dialing (Own extension) - Allows you to make outbound calls by entering your voicemail pin number. Pick up the Euphoria handset, dial *22 and follow the voice prompts. The system will ask you for your voicemail pin number. If correct, it will allow you to enter the number you want to dial.

*72

*73

Call Forwarding Always (De-activation) - This code disables always forwarding calls for the extension that it is initiated from. This feature code is voice prompted.

*89

*91
