Registering extensions to a Yealink device is done via the Web Interface of the Yealink IP Phone.

  1. Log into the handset by opening a new tab in your Web Browser and inserting the phone’s IP Address into the Address bar. ( Press the OK  button to get the IP address.)
  2. Go to “Account”, this is where we enter the extension’s details. How to Get Sip Credentials.
  3. Log into the Yealink account by inserting the IP address in a web browser.
    Note: To log into the device, the user will need the IP address. (Refer to the devices configuration manual.)
  4. Click on the  “Account” tab and fill in the information. 
  5. Click on “Apply”  - the extension should say registered.
  6. Enable the correct audio codecs. ( Euphoria uses the G729 Codec.)
    1. Remove unnecessary Codecs by holding the “Shift” key on the keyboard and select all unwanted Codecs.
    2. Click on the arrow facing towards the “Disabled codecs” block. Click “Confirm”. 
  7. Enter the voicemail code, *85, in the advanced section of the account
  8. Click on the "Account" tab again. Change the account number to another account by selecting it from the drop-down menu.
  9. Repeat steps 6 to 7 in order to configure the new account with another extension that a handset could pair to.
  10. Ensure Time & Date settings are correct. Euphoria has its own time servers, ntp1.euphoria.co.za and NTP.euphoria.co.za.
    1. Insert ntp1.euphoria.co.za.
    2. If a secondary NTP Server is required, insert NTP.euphoria.co.za.
    3. Choose the correct time zone (+2 Greece, Israel, Turkey etc. )
    4. Disable “Daylight Saving Time”.
    5. 10.5: Save the changes and click “Confirm.
  11. Click on the "Features" tab and select the "General Information" sub-menu
    1. Enable the "Accept SIP Trust Server Only" option.
    2. Change the Number of "Active Handsets" to 8.
